Our Commitment to Sustainability and Responsibility
At Indepth, we believe that strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices are fundamental to our success and the positive impact we have on the communities we serve. As a responsible business, we are committed to implementing sustainable practices, fostering a positive workplace, and maintaining transparent governance.
Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint through responsible cleaning practices, sustainable procurement, and innovation in waste management.
Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us, it’s at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated ESG team, led by our ESG Director Darran Yates, is leading the charge.
We carefully select eco-friendly cleaning products and work with suppliers who share our commitment to protecting the environment.
We are proud to introduce initiatives like reduced chemical usage, recycling programs, and the integration of biodegradable and non-toxic cleaning agents. Our use of technology such as water-saving systems and energy-efficient machines also ensures that we minimise our environmental footprint, delivering the best results with less waste and lower emissions.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have partnered with Bunzl as our sustainable janitorial supplier and have renewed our energy tariffs to ensure our operations are carbon-zero.
Social Responsibility
Supporting our people and communities is at the heart of what we do. As a Real Living Wage provider, we ensure that our employees are fairly compensated for their hard work. In addition, we are proud to have our own ESG Director, Darran Yates, who leads our initiatives and helps shape our commitment to ethical practices and sustainable development.
Employee well-being and safety are also paramount to us. That’s why we have a defibrillator based at our head office, demonstrating our commitment to health and safety at work.
Governance
We uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Our governance practices are rooted in transparency, compliance, and ethical decision-making. Our leadership team, guided by our core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Passion, and Team, ensures that our commitments are met and our actions align with our principles.
Health & Safety
Health & Safety is fundamental to everything we do at Indepth. We hold ISO 45001 accreditation and have maintained SafeContractor status for over 10 years, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating safe, compliant and well-managed working environments.
Our management team brings together more than 100 years of combined industry experience, supported by recognised NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications. This expertise is strengthened through collaboration with trusted external partners to ensure best practice is embedded across our operations.
All teams work to site-specific Risk Assessments and Quantitative RAMS, using a clear Red, Amber, Green approach. This ensures assessments are easy to understand, practical to follow and, most importantly, effective in keeping our people and clients safe.
Ethos / Ethics
At Indepth, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we operate. We actively engage in local employment, apprenticeships and work experience opportunities, recognising the importance of investing in the next generation and creating sustainable career pathways.
We are an equal opportunities employer, with mutual respect, integrity and honesty at the heart of our culture. Social value is a key consideration across the business, and we take pride in working collaboratively with local communities while setting clear philanthropic goals, including ongoing support for chosen charities.
